Yes, I know the title of this post is partly in Spanish. Sorry. (smile) I was trying to emphasize that knowing how to use your tongue is super duper important when playing the flute.
I receive voice messages and videos from my online students nearly daily. And, I’ve noticed that the students who tell me they are struggling with their tone often have something in common. They aren’t using their tongue! It so surprises me.
Right from the very first day of lessons with me I teach how to use your tongue. Getting good tone on your flute is made up of a recipe involving your flute and different part of your face, not to mention your “wind”.

The tongue has everything to do with good tone not to mention articulation.
Flute players (and all wind players) must learn to use their tongue or their pieces will be mushy and fuzzy. Do you want to be a “mushy” and “fuzzy” flute player? I think not.
Use your tongue, folks. 🙂
I show you how to EXACTLY use your tongue- when and where in the online flute lessons learning modules.
