  1. Great idea, Anne-Marie. The Jazz course is coming! It’s a bigger project than I thought, but watch for it. You’ll love what’s there for you. Love your video here. I notice around 1:10 + you stay on the Eb and D a lot – great.. you just want to be sure your first finger is up up. This is second octave, and your tone will fix when you make sure the first finger is up. Great job!! ~Rebecca

Hi Rebecca, Please make an ‘Improvising Course’,and how to improvise with other people 🙂
This was challenging but fun module. I look forward to your hearing what advise you have for me to improve.

Thank you again and again for your comments and great course,
    Anne-Marie

  3. Awesome, Haley. I always like to hear how other people improvise. It gives me ideas and peeks my curiosity. We’ll work on this even more inside the Jazz course. Glad you’re having fun. ~Rebecca

  4. Haley Reinford

I’m having lots of fun improvising but I’m afraid it isn’t anything fancy, I love the way you did it.

  5. This one is kinda cool! Good job Brian. You can continue to use your imagination on this one for yearssssss…~ Rebecca

  6. Hi Abdu! Thanks for uploading this video. It’s so much fun to watch you progress. I’m so happy you have the correct fingerings.. and your tuning is improving also. Great improvising!! ~ Rebecca

  7. That was challenging ! I felt like I am in the Aladdin cartoon movie 😀 — It is the first time to give us that ‘ freedom’. I love it. After many many deleted videos versions , I decided to share that one. Jumping from low to high in a flexible way is not as easy as it sounds ! I tried to do some trilling , and there are few hiccups though but I would love to hear your feedback on it.

    Thank you ~ Abdu

  8. Ok. I fixed it. The wrong videos were showing for this module. Got it back now. Thanks for alerting me, Kevin Miner! 🙂 ~ Rebecca

  9. Rebecca,
I’m seeing the videos for 45 on the 45 bonus page instead of the Snakey Scale videos it’s saying should be here.

    Thanks.
    Kevin

  10. Hey Jim, you totally have the right idea! It just takes a lot of doing this type of thing over and over to start being able to formulate what sounds correct. You can goof around with this scale all day long and see what you come up with. YAY! Rebecca

  11. Hi Rebecca, I tried to print out the progress record for this lesson, but got the record for Module 45 and not 45 Bonus. Is there a progress record for 45 Bonus? Thanks,
    Jim

  12. Hi Mackenzie, try again… I went to the page and clicked- up popped the videos for me. Use a different browser if this happens often. ~ Rebecca

  13. Hi Rebecca,
I noticed that there’s a second video with nothing on it…Just wondering what that’s about.
    Mackenzie

  14. I really had no idea the accompaniment didn’t show up on this page — so glad you said something. I have added it now. Play to your heart’s content. 🙂

  15. Hey Elaine, without seeing you and holding your flute, I can only tell you to check one thing… it’s an important thing for sure. Look at your LEFT HAND THUMB. Where are you pushing? You should be using the horizontal-looking rectangle key. .. Not the Round one. That’ll make all the difference in the world. Let me know if you need to schedule a Skype Lesson. I can help you in a jiffy.

  16. Hi Rebecca, I am really learning so much and enjoying your modules. I am just having one problem. I really think it is my flute and not me…….I hope! My B and my Bb sound exactly alike. I have a tuner and I have no problems with this note. It only goes to Bb and i am right on the green. Is it me or do you think it could be my flute.
Thank you for all that you do,
    Your student
    Elaine
