  1. Hi Rebecca, I’m having trouble accessing the links of the bonus after module 5. I can see the whole HTML code written but there’s no clicking it to access the content. What can I do? Could you resend me the links?

  2. Hi Cindi, not sure if I already answered this here or not, but I wanted to tell you that it’s totally possible that a curved head “could” help, but probably isn’t necessary. I wish I could reach through the computer and tweak your arms for you. Perhaps you could send a picture or leave a youtube video link here so I can see the issue? ~Rebecca

  3. I am having problem with holding my wrist straight, I think that is why I took up the soprano recorder. Anyway, would a curved head joint help?

  4. Hi John, I’m so glad you’re building in time and space for your fun. You’ll find so much fulfillment from learning music. The flute is a gorgeous instrument, and paired with the piano- mmmmmm… you’re going to have a good time. Good job! ~Rebecca

  5. Hi, Rebecca! This is fantastic, I finally just made it thru the first silver levels. I am MAKING myself find some time to re-learn my flute! (So many distractions!!!) I played for many years in school, and won some State competitions, but that has been some time ago! I am being patient and slowly working my way through my lessons. We are building a new house, and designed a music room into it! My wife is learning piano, and I am so excited thinking about all the beautiful music that we can make! Thanks for the great lessons!

  6. Thanks! Rebecca for doing this for me. I’m doing great after alot of hard work I got it and can play pretty good. God bless you!!!

  7. Hi Jane, yes yes. You’ll really like these online lessons. They’re in perfect learning order, and you really learn fast… and well! I think you can do it, no problem. Keep it up and move through in the order I have set for you. (Gold Level is after the Silver) See you again soon in a new lesson! ~Rebecca

  8. Thank you Rebecca for making flute lessons fun. I have been tempted to quit my actual flute lessons because I found them so frustrating.
Just memorizing the fingering chart not playing any melodies. I have been at it for three months and have completed module 6. I am loving YOUR
lessons. You have been my inspiration to keep on. I do have trouble with the long tones and tonguing, however.

  9. Wow I am so glad I have returned to learning the flute. I believe this time round I am more determined and it is all beginning to make sense because of Rebecca’a clear instructions and patience. Your son is awesome.

  10. Hi Cara, so glad you are here! Just follow the lessons in the order I have set, and always always review-practice every skill you have learned every single day to the point where you have it all memorized and know that your technique is perfect. It’s gonna be awesome!! ~Rebecca

  11. Thanks so much! I am so excited-my family is very musical so it didn’t take much to convince my parents to buy me the gold levels and she just has so excited!

  12. I am doing great on holding my flute, placing my fingers and also fingering the notes, but I absolutely cannot get a great consistent tone. I either have too much air and I am blowing or I am spitting too much. You make it look so easy but I am struggling and I will not give up! I do fine just using the head joint but when I put it all together it just isn’t coming together! I cannot seem to make enough sound if I try the “spitting rice” method!!!

  13. Awesome, Gisela. We are SO excited to have you join us here. You’re going to do great!! ~ Rebecca

  14. I’m treating myself with your lessons! Had some lessons years and years ago and can make things up ok on the flute, that means I got stuck in my personal comfort zone, this time I’m going to learn it properly, with sheet music, learning what notes my fingers are actually playing and starting again instead of just experimenting. Hold me to it, please! 😀

  15. Holding the crazy “pipe” is the first big hurdle.. haha you can do it! It stays tricky to balance for just a while, but then it gets very comfortable. Excited for you! Rebecca

  16. This is great. I finally figured out how to hold this crazy pipe LOL! In the past I gave up at this point because of this difficulty balancing the flute. This was my first hurdle. Gum on the bottom of my lip…..just kidding.
